Harley-Davidson in Switzerland first waited to see how the foreign exchange situation would develop after the "franc shock" - the Swiss National Bank unexpectedly lifted the minimum exchange rate of 1.20 for the euro in mid-January. Now Harley-Davidson grants as of Feb. 10, 2015 currency compensation premiums between 5% and 20% depending on the model. With this, Harley-Davidson passes on their currency gains to their customers in Switzerland. This change is valid until revoked by Harley-Davidson.
